Cabinet Color Codes & Finishes

Explore door finishes, compare color codes, and find the details to request your cabinet sample.

See the finish in your own room

A screen is useful for narrowing your choices, but it cannot show how a door finish behaves beside your floor, worktop and wall color. Put a current physical sample on the wall where the cabinets will sit. Look at it in morning light, under your evening fixtures and next to the surfaces you plan to keep.

Set two or three samples together instead of choosing from isolated product photos. A softer white can calm a bright kitchen, while a deeper wood tone may give a busy room a grounded focal point. Think about the cabinet face as part of the room, then use its printed code to connect your preferred look to the correct item.

Carry the choice through the plan

After you like a finish, check the full cabinet run. End panels, fillers, trim and doors should be reviewed as a group, especially where the cabinetry meets an appliance or changes height. Keep the sample with your measurements and make a note of the light in which you approved it.

The codes below help start that conversation. They are references for requesting an exact current sample and configuration, not a substitute for seeing the material or confirming that every needed piece is available.

Find your finish

Use the code to ask for a current sample. Compare it with your flooring and countertop in the room’s daylight.

FAQ

Why should I include the finish code in my request?

A finish code helps identify the intended color. Include the cabinet series as well, because finish names and availability can differ between lines.

Can I rely on the screen color when choosing a finish?

Use the images to narrow your choices, then review a physical sample with your flooring, countertops and room lighting before approving the finish.
